TDG Full Day Compliance Course

This course is designed for people who ship, handle, receive, transport or classify dangerous goods. The content of the course incorporates the new regulations, which became law on August 16th, 2002 as well as the subsequent amendments.

Course Length: One Day

TDG Refresher Compliance Course

This course is designed for people who ship, handle, receive, transport or classify dangerous goods and have had previous TDG training.

TDG Train the Trainer Course

This course is designed for trainers within the organization that will be training their employees. It is a comprehensive program, which provides all of the necessary information for ensuring compliance.

Workplace Hazardous Management Information System (TOP)

All of the WHMIS courses and the associated material include the following topics:

  • Responsibilities of the supplier, employer and employee with respect to (WHMIS)

  • Classification and hazard symbols
  • Labels (supplier, workplace, placards and identifiers
  • Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Management Information System)

This course is designed for all employees who come in contact with a controlled substance. A controlled substance could include but is not limited to such substances as bleach, fire extinguishers and paint. The participant will understand the legislation and will be able to safely handle all controlled substances in the workplace.

Course Length Four Hours

WHMIS Train the Trainer Course

IATA (International Air Transport Association) (TOP)

  • Dangerous goods in Limited quantities

  • Packing requirements
  • UN specification packagings
  • Marking and labelling of packages and overpacks
  • TDG as it relates to air shipments in Canada

IATA Initial Training Course

This course is recommended for all employees that ship, handle, receive and transport non-radioactive dangerous goods.

IATA Refresher Course

This course is recommended for all employees that ship, handle, receive and transport non-radioactive dangerous goods. In order to participate in this course the employee must have completed the initial IATA training course. This course must be taken every two years.
